Klaus Iohannis: Romania is firmly committed to NATO’s permanent adaptation process

Romania is „firmly” committed to NATO’s permanent adaptation process, President Klaus Iohannis stressed on Thursday in a message posted on the X platform.

„NATO, the strongest and most important defence alliance in history, is 75 years old. Its relevance is all the greater given the current difficult context. Romania is firmly committed to NATO’s permanent adaptation process, so as to become stronger and better prepared for the future,” wrote the president.

An anniversary ceremony attended by NATO leaders and allied foreign ministers will take place on Thursday at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
