Liberal Turcan: I find it very strange that PM holds negotiations on calendar for the presidential election

Published on

Liberal deputy Raluca Turcan on Monday told the Political Bureau of the National Liberal Party (PNL) that she finds it strange to see the prime minister carrying out negotiations on the calendar for the presidential and parliamentary elections this autumn.

„I find it very strange to see the PM negotiating like this, considering that the negotiations with the presidents of the political parties should actually be carried out by the president of Romania,” said Turcan.

The government holds consultations on Monday and Tuesday with the political parties to establish the calendar for the presidential and parliamentary elections this autumn.
