Lucian Bode: We got a political score in the local elections that positions us as the leader of the Romanian Right

The PNL general secretary says that the PNL has scored a political score in the local elections that positions them as the leader of the Romanian right. „All this is the cornerstone for winning this year’s presidential and parliamentary elections,” says Bode.

„June 9 is a day when Romania proved that democratic values are strong! The PNL victory is the victory of every Romanian who believes in liberal values, in a European Romania, in strong and prosperous communities.
I thank the more than 9 million Romanians who voted in the country and in the diaspora and the approximately 2.5 million Romanians who voted PNL. With their vote, they validated us as the main right-wing political force in Romania.

With the support of Romanians we have achieved the two major goals we set ourselves:
The PNL-PSD Alliance won the European Parliamentary elections, and Romania continues its European journey with dignity alongside the great family of the European People’s Party.vWe achieved a political score in the local elections that positions us as the leader of the Romanian Right.

All this is the cornerstone for winning this year’s presidential and parliamentary elections. Our success would not have been possible without the effort and determination of the liberal teams, without the involvement of the members and supporters who have mobilised in an exemplary way during this campaign and to whom I would like to give my special thanks. „, writes Lucian Bode, Secretary General of the PNL.
