Ludovic Orban drumming up Liberal support to defeat PSD in elections

Published on

Chairman of the Force of the Right Party Ludovic Orban on Tuesday called on the Liberals to join him in the quest to beat the Social Democratic Party (PSD) in the upcoming elections and bring Romania back on the right track.

Orban, a former Liberal prime minister who is now running for president, wrote on Facebook: „I have a simple message for the Liberals: Iohannis and Ciuca are held captive by the PSD! And they want to keep you too in a state of servitude to PSD for another 4 years. After they expelled liberalism from PNL’s leadership, they will also oust the Liberals from the PNL. It’s time for you to do what obviously needs to be done. Let Iohannis and Ciuca do the bootlicking with the PSD, and join me in the strive to defeat the PSD in these elections in order to bring Romania back on the right track!”
