Published on

The Republic of Moldova respects the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and considers „fake” the so-called referendums held by the Russian Federation in several Ukrainian regions, according to IPN, Agerpres, read.

Maia Sandu stated that the Republic of Moldova „does not recognize any subsequent action of these fake referendums.”

In a press conference, Maia Sandu said that the relationship between the Republic of Moldova and the Russian Federation was „dramatically affected” by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. „We have condemned and will continue to condemn this war. And we will condemn these actions, I repeat, which do not respect international law and which do not respect the integrity and sovereignty of other countries”, said Maia Sandu.
