The managing director of Appidi Technologies Ltd, A.V.S. Reddy, part of the 24 member Indian Pharma delegation present in the 30th Edition of ROMMEDICA (International Trade Fair for Medical Instruments and Equipment), in Bucharest, said, in an exclusive interview for ecopoliticnews.com, that the company’s representatives will be happy to bring their products to Romanian market.

„This (the event) has given us an opportunity to understand the local market situation and the potential you have in Romania. So it is a good event and it is the first time I am coming here. It is interesting to see the good amount of niche market here. The doctors, traders, business community, all joining together and extending our radius, it is very interesting.

Basically we manufacture products in India, those are disinfectants which are commonly used in every hospital. The disinfectant is one which to help to control the infections and the cross infection between one patient to other patient. So the product is commonly used as a disinfectant.

We have hand disinfectants, hand scrubs and we also have instrument disinfectants, floor disinfectants, surface disinfectants. We have a complete range of it. Also we have a very easy to operate product, which is UVC system. UVC system is basically very easy to operate and it does not leave any residual effect, like chemicals, in the operating room or in a critically patient areas, where you can disinfect with a simple operating UVC system. Kind of a irradiating system which will deliver about 254 nanometer UV light, so that will kill bacteria, germs and spores.

So that is the product that we manufacture, again in different ranges, which can be moved from one place to another place and can simply switch it on with the Bluetooth application. You don’t have to be exposed to UV rays, you can operate from outside and stop it anytime you want. You can also program it depending on the room area. It can be set to 10, 15, 20 minutes and automatically the mission will get tipped-off when is done.

So this is the main product that we have and try to promote it in Romania and hopefully we will be able to get some deals, or maybe some interested parties. We would like to work with the Romanian companies.

We actually have some inquiries, good inquiries and few people came and discussed with us and we are analizing who would be good for us and we will be walking with them soon.

We have more products in the pipeline. We have manufacture facility in India and we are expanding our facility with a new product range like plasma sterilizers and amazing equipment which will probably be ready next year. So we will be happy to bring our new range of products to Romanian market and walk together with one ore two of your agents here in Romania”, the managing director of Appidi Technologies Ltd, A.V.S. Reddy, said.

97 exhibiting companies, from 10 countries: Bulgaria, China, Switzerland, France, India, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary, came to ROMEXPO to present the latest techniques and technologies in the dental and medical industry, between 13 and 15 of October, in Bucharest.
