Published on

The Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) informs the Romanian citizens in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that the activity at the international airports in Dubai (DXB) and Abu Dhabi has only partially resumed.

The MAE issued a series of recommendations:

* For your safety and in order to avoid overcrowding at terminals, do Not travel to the airport without firm confirmation of your flight;

* Check the status of your flight directly with the airline or travel agency. Go to the airport Only if the flight is confirmed as „operational;”

* Consult official notifications issued by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) for up-to-date information on flight corridors;

* Strictly follow the instructions of local authorities and airport staff. These are essential for managing passenger flows safely.

„Our consular teams remain in contact with the Emirati authorities to support the Romanian citizens in transit. Stay connected to the MAE WhatsApp channel. Keep in touch with travel agencies and airlines regarding the options they may provide. Medical cases and groups of children are a priority for our missions. If you are in one of these situations and have not yet registered, please do so at www.econsulat.ro,” the MAE conveyed on Facebook.
