PSD MEP Mihai Tudose spoke on the show „Ai aflat cu Ionuț Cristache” about one of the major mistakes of the Bolojan administration.
„When the PSD is in power, pensions go up, but when people vote based on emotion, they want change… In the next elections, the PSD will have to fix what has been broken in the meantime. That’s how democracy works. We have 28% in parliament, so we can’t govern alone.”
The balance of power in the coalition
„We did not agree and we are negotiating some things that we are discussing in the coalition.
We have this position of opposing things that we do not consider necessary: bureaucracy, no more unreasonable salaries. I do not agree with cutting veterans’ allowances, with what happened with maternity allowances.
We have been asking, we don’t know what we have to agree to because of Package II. Everything that was up to us in the PSD ministries has been delivered, we still have Administration, which is not up to us, Development, and in Finance we have not seen an official document with the deficit. Apart from what I heard on TV from the Prime Minister, which I personally think is an extraordinary mistake for a Prime Minister to say that we are unable to pay. You don’t say that anywhere, you don’t say it even in your sleep, you hurt the country, you influence the markets.”
