Minister Aurescu welcomes incoming ambassador of United Arab Emirates

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, on Monday welcomed the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Bucharest, Sultan Mohamed Majed Al Ali, who presented his letter of accreditation, according to Agerpres.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent to Agerpres, the head of Romanian diplomacy highlighted the commitment of the Bucharest and Abu Dhabi authorities, up to the highest level, to put into practice, in an applied manner, the economic partnership between the two states. He pointed out that the discussions at the economic and sectoral level that took place during the visit of Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca to Abu Dhabi and during the second session of the Cooperation Committee between the Government of Romania and the Government of the UAE, chaired by the Romanian side at the level of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Romanian official also underscored that these projects are priority objectives on the bilateral agenda for the next period, both at the level of relevant ministries, and through the involvement of the business environment of the two states, Minister Bogdan Aurescu stressing the need to stimulate and carefully monitor developments in the implementation of all decisions taken at the highest level.
