Natalia Intotero, the Minister of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities, was injured on Tuesday in an accident in southern Valea Oltului, in Racovita.
According to Valcea Police representatives, the car in which Intotero was a passenger crashed into another car driven by a 41-year-old woman, overturning in a ditch on the side of the road.
„From the checks carried out by the police, it was determined that a 41-year-old woman, while driving a car, collided with a car driven by a 32-year-old man. After the collision, a woman who was in one of the two cars was taken over by an ambulance, for the provision of specialized medical care. The drivers were tested with the breathalyzer, the results were negative. In the case, the police are conducting investigations, to establish with accuracy of the circumstances in which the event took place,” the IPJ Valcea representatives sent.
Currently, Intotero is being medically evaluated at the Valcea County Emergency Hospital.
The head of the Emergency Department of the health unit, Dr. Florin Nicolae, stated for AGERPRES that she has some contusions in the abdomen and hip, but is stable and does not present major problems, so she will most likely be able to go home after staying for a few more hours under the supervision of doctors from Valcea.
