Ministry of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities continues „No Barriers – Say NO to drugs” campaign

The Ministry of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities announces the continuation of the national campaign „Without Barriers – Say NO to Drugs”, a project aimed at raising awareness and combating drug use among young people.

The event is organized in partnership with the Student Cultural Centers and will take place in the following cities: Satu Mare, Zalau, Alba Iulia, Sfantu Gheorghe, Miercurea Ciuc, Botosani, Piatra Neamt, Vaslui, Focsani, Tulcea, Braila, Slobozia, Calarasi, Giurgiu , Alexandria, Slatina, Ramnicu Valcea, Drobeta Turnu Severin and Resita, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Friday.

On November 6, at 6:00 p.m., the Caravan „Without barriers – ALL the truth about drugs” will be at the Popular Athenaeum „Mr. Gh. Pastia” from Focsani.

„The purpose of the campaign ‘No Barriers – Say NO to Drugs’ is to draw a clear line between our young people and the dangers of drugs. It is time for all state institutions to act together to prevent tragedies, educate young people and give them the support they need needed to make healthy and responsible choices,” said Minister Natalia Intotero.

The project „Without Barriers – Say NO to Drugs” is part of a series of actions dedicated to protecting children and young people from the dangers associated with the use of prohibited substances and aims to address the current challenges related to the increase in drug use among teenagers, to provide resources information and support for families, but also to promote the importance of prevention and education.
