The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) indices recorded a mixed performance at the opening of Tuesday’s trading session, with turnover of 18.317 million RON (3.68 million euros) after 40 minutes from the start of trading.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, picked up 0.26 percent, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares opened 0.29 percent lower.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers decreased 0.20 percent, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK advanced 0.11 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies advanced 0.23 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG rose 0.57 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market was up 0.12 percent.
According to BVB, the issuers to see the largest price rise were Romcab (+6.92 percent), Bermas (+6.43 percent) and Transgaz (+2.78 percent) registered the highest increases in share value.
On the other hand, Alro (-3.11 percent), Banca Transilvania (-2.87 percent) and Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-2.19 percent) registered the most significant decreases.
