Mixed results for BVB stocks an hour into Monday’s trading session

There were mixed results for the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks on Monday an hour into the trading session as trades amounted to RON 5.22 million (EUR 1.03 million).

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks fell by 0.01%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks declined 0.02%.

On the other hand, the extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks gained 0.02%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, levelled off.

The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks advanced 0.26%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, increased by 0.06%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+3.81%), Safetech Innovations (+3.46%) and Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (+2.84%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Aeta SA (-12.86%), Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-6.45%) and Chimcomplex Borzesti (-4.76%).
