Nearly 400 fire brigade interventions, 60 fallen trees and 71 damaged cars in Bucharest & Ilfov

Firefighters had to intervene in the night of Thursday to Friday in almost 400 cases in Bucharest and Ilfov as a result of the storm, 208 homes, households and basements and 71 cars were damaged, and over 60 trees and electricity poles fell.

”As a result of the weather phenomena, during the orange and red codes, from 10:00 until 05.00 this morning, ISUBIF firefighters managed 397 interventions – 331 in Bucharest and 66 in Ilfov county,” ISUBIF announced Friday morning.

These consisted of: 327 floods; 60 trees and 7 fallen electricity poles and 3 roofs blown away by the wind.

A total of 107 streets, 208 houses, households and basements and 71 cars were affected.

Further action is being taken to resolve the situations reported.
