Net assets of local open-end investment funds down 1.5& in July, to 17 billion lei

The net assets of local open-end investment funds were at a value of approximately 17 billion lei in July, down 1.5% compared to the previous month, according to a report by the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF), Agerpres read.

At the end of July 2022, net assets related to bond funds and fixed income instruments and the category of other funds decreased compared to the previous month.

Thus, in July 2022, open-end funds of bonds and fixed-income instruments held the largest share in total net assets related to open-end investment funds (around 54%), and the „other funds” category held a market share of around 22%.
