Net investment in Romanian economy exceeds RON 70 billion in H1 2023

H1 2023 net investment in Romania’s economy reached RON 70.051 billion, up 13.5% y-o-y, according to data with the National Institute of Statistics (INS), published on Monday, write Agerpres.

As against Q2 2022, Q2 2023 net investment amounted to RON 40.025 billion, up 13.5% on increases in all structural components: other expenses ( +41%, in machinery (including means of transport) by 21.3%, and in new construction works (+7.7%).

January – June 2023, the jump in net investment in the Romanian economy was due to an increase in activities recorded in all structural components as follows: other expenses (+24.4%), machinery (including means of transport) plus 15 .6%, and new construction works (+11%).
