Nicolae Ciuca: Foreign direct investments reach record level ten months into the year

Published on

Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca states that foreign direct investments have reached a record level for the first ten months of this year, indicating that, according to the estimation of the National Bank of Romania (BNR), 2022 will be the year with the most important foreign investments, according to Agerpres.

„Foreign direct investments have reached a record level for the first ten months of this year. According to the BNR estimation, 2022 will be the year with the most important foreign investments. This indicator shows us that the big investors see, very clearly, the long-term growth prospects of the Romanian economy and include Romania in the calculations involving capital placement,” Ciuca wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.

He emphasises that Romania is a country with a stable and performing economy, and this is confirmed by the confidence that investors have in the country’s development capacity.

„The massive entry of investments into the country can be seen in the growth rate of the national economy, the multiple business opportunities that appear on the domestic market, but also the creation of new jobs in the coming period, so necessary for the increase in everyone’s standard of living,” the prime minister also wrote.
