PNL President Nicolae Ciucă says that tonight we celebrate the victory of the 9.3 million Romanians who gave a lesson in democracy by voting, as well as the 2.3 million who demonstrated that the PNL is the strongest right-wing political force

„Tonight we celebrate the victory of the 9.3 million Romanians who gave a lesson in democracy by voting, and of the 2.3 million who proved that the PNL is the strongest right-wing political force in Romania.

I thank the almost 54% of voters who chose European values and said a firm „No!” to extremism. We celebrate not only the victory of our party and the Alliance, but of every Romanian who wants Romania to prosper.

The commitment of the PNL elected representatives and my personal commitment is this: we will not let down those who voted for us. We will continue to develop communities led by Liberals. At a time of economic and security challenges, we must stand together to ensure the stability the country needs.

I thank our PNL members for their exemplary dedication and mobilization. It is thanks to them that we have been able to achieve these results. Let’s not forget that this year there are more elections, not easy ones, in which we must be victorious.

I am ready and proud to continue working with the PNL team, in the service of Romanians and Romania”, said Nicolae Ionel Ciucă, PNL President.
