Nicusor Dan: Our support for the Republic of Moldova does not stop

Published on

Romania’s support for the Republic of Moldova does not stop, President Nicudor Dan declared on Thursday.

„Our support for the Republic of Moldova does not stop. I discussed with President Maia Sandu and European partners the concrete steps to accelerate the European integration process. The Republic of Moldova’s place is in the great European family and Romania’s efforts will continue to be supported in this direction,” the head of state wrote on X.

Nicusor Dan and Maia Sandu were present at the summit of the European Political Community, where the agenda included the conflict in Ukraine and ensuring European security, the drone issue, disinformation and Russian influence, but also the result of the legislative elections in the Republic of Moldova and the hybrid attacks that led to the cancellation of the presidential election in Romania. Moreover, Nicusor Dan presented, in this context, the Prosecutor General’s report on this topic.
