Number of pensioners who received social allowance increase in December by 128 people

The total number of beneficiaries of social allowance for retirees was 1,145,251 in December 2022, with 128 people more compared to the previous month, according to data centralized by the National Public Pension House (CNPP), Agerpres reports.

Among them, 1,028,235 were pensioners from the public system, and 117,016 were pensioners from the former pension system of farmers.

In the case of pensioners from the public system, the average value of the allowance received from the state budget was 376 lei. The highest values ??were recorded in the counties of Bistrita-Nasaud (434 lei), Maramures (431 RON) and Cluj (417 RON).

The most beneficiaries of this allowance were in Bucharest – respectively 48,263 and in the counties of Suceava (41,597 pensioners), Dolj (37,564), Iasi (36,749) and Prahova (35,145).

As far as agricultural pensioners are concerned, the average social allowance received from the state budget was 269 lei, the highest value being recorded in the counties of Ilfov (387 RON) and Gorj (349 RON) and in sector 1 of Bucharest (341 RON).

According to the quoted source, the largest number of beneficiaries among agricultural pensioners was recorded in the counties of Iasi (8,055 people), followed by Botosani (7,622) and Dolj (7,568).
