The mountain areas of Caras-Severin, Gorj, Valcea, Hunedoara, Alba, Sibiu, and Brasov counties are under an Orange Code snow warning, effective from Thursday at 10:00. According to the National Meteorological Administration, by Friday at 23:00, these regions will see heavy snow, temporarily blizzard-like, with gusts of 70-80 km/h, and a significant snow layer of 30-50 cm is expected.
