Outstanding debts of general consolidated budget increased by 3% in April 2024

The outstanding debts of the general consolidated budget increased by 3%, in April 2024, compared to the previous month, to 401.6 million RON, from 389.9 million RON in March, according to the data published on the website of the Ministry of Finance.

The outstanding debts over 90 days decreased by 33%, from 163 million RON to 109.3 million RON, those over 120 days increased by 45%, from 153.6 million RON, in March 2024, to 222.7 million RON in April 2024. Arrears over 360 days registered a decrease of 5.2%, from 73.4 million RON to 69.9 million RON.

According to the source, in terms of local budgets, arrears registered an advance of 3.22% from 356.4 million RON (in March 2024) to 367.9 million RON (in April 2024).

Outstanding debts over 90 days decreased by 31.74%, to 103.9 million RON, those over 120 days increased by 44.6%, to 206.3 million RON, and arrears greater than 360 days decreased by 6.4%, up to 57.7 million RON.

In the „State and autonomous budget” chapter, arrears increased from 33.5 million RON in March 2024 to 33.7 million RON in April (+0.6%).

Arrears over 90 days decreased by 49.54%, to 5.4 million RON, those over 120 days increased by 49%, to 16.4 million RON, and those over 360 days they remained at the same level as in March, namely 11.8 million RON.
