Over 106,000 individuals and legal entities, registered in first eight months of 2022

The number of registrations of individuals and legal entities increased, in the first eight months of this year, by 2.2%, compared to the similar period in 2021, to 106,154, of which 80,410 are limited liability companies (SRL), according to data centralized by the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC), consulted by Agerpres.

Most registrations were recorded in the Municipality of Bucharest, respectively 19,558 (plus 22.94%, compared to January-August 2021), and in the counties of Cluj – 6,638 (+13.01%), Ilfov – 5,445 (+14.17 %) and Timis – 5,077 (+5.49%).

At the opposite end, the lowest number of registrations was recorded in the counties of Covasna – 615 (17.12% decrease, compared to the first eight months of 2021), Tulcea – 754 (17.60% decrease) and Ialomita – 771 (minus 4.05%).

In August, 16,028 individuals and legal entities were registered, most in Bucharest (3,003) and in the counties of Cluj (1,011), Ilfov (817) and Timis (738).

According to ONRC, the fields in which the most registrations were made are: wholesale and retail trade; motor vehicle and motorcycle repair (18,119, -13.65%, compared to the same period last year), professional, scientific and technical activities (11,983, +30.59%) and construction (11,047, -6.09%).
