Over 4,200 companies, certified individuals enter insolvency during first eight months of 2022

The number of commercial companies and authorized individuals (PFA) that entered insolvency increased by 11.28% in the first eight months of 2022, compared to the same period last year, with 4,282 insolvencies being registered, according to the data published on the website of the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC), according to Agerpres.

The most companies and certified individuals entered into insolvency were registered in Bucharest, 715, with a slight increase of 0.99% compared to the period January-August 2021.

By field of activity, the highest number of insolvencies was recorded in wholesale, retail, vehicle and motor vehicles repair, respectively 1,136, a number similar to that recorded in the first eight months of 2021, construction – 832 (plus 30%) and the manufacturing industry – 554 (plus 14.46%).
