Overcast skies, rain to grip Bucharest City for days

Overcast skies, cold and rain showers are expected in Bucharest City for the next few days according to forecasts by the National Weather Administration (ANM) published on Sunday.

Thus, between October 5, 21:00hrs and October 6, 10:00hrs, in the Capital, the sky will be cloudy and there will be conditions for light rain. Weak to moderate wind, lows of 7 – 9 degrees Celsius.

Between October 6, 10:00hrs and October 7, 10:00hrs, there will be overcast skies and cold weather, while moderate rain is expected at night (10 – 15 l/sqm). Weak to moderate wind, highs of 15 – 17 degrees Celsius, lower than in the previous interval, and lows between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius.

Between October 7, 10:00hrs and October 8, 10:00 hrs, overcast skies will persist and weather will be particularly cold for this part of the year. It will rain, more so in the evening and at night. Wind will pick up speed, amplify the feeling of cold. Highs dropping to 12 – 14 degrees Celsius, with lows around 8 – 10 degrees Celsius.

From Wednesday morning to Thursday, October 9, at 10:00hrs, the skies will still be overcast, cold weather, and sparse rain, especially during the day, when the wind will also pick up speed. Highs of16 degrees Celsius, lows of 10 degrees Celsius.

ANM on Sunday issued a report of significant rain, temporary blizzards at altitudes of over 1,700 metres, wind picking up speed and cold weather, valid throughout the country until Thursday evening. AGERPRES
