A platform that aims to develop smart solutions for cities and build the future Smart City is to be launched at the University Politehnica of Bucharest, write Agerpres.

„The CITI Cluster is to be established as a collaborative platform – an innovative network of companies, organisations and higher education institutions – which aims to develop smart city solutions and build the future Smart City. To this end, we want partner companies which share the same vision and desire to transform the way we live, work and interact in the urban environment to join our initiative,” a press release shows.

Cluster participants will be connected with other companies and „key” organisations in the industry and will be able to have commercial partnerships and business opportunities.

„The CITI cluster will be a reference platform in the Smart City area,” the quoted source said.

The participants in the cluster will also have the opportunity to collaborate with prestigious academic institutions and access funds in order to develop and implement innovation projects in the Smart City area.
