Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan on Monday discussed, in Brussels, with the European Commissioner for Economy and Productivity, Valdis Dombrovskis, about Romania’s macroeconomic and fiscal situation, emphasising at the end of the meeting that the Government in Bucharest will continue the necessary reforms to consolidate stability and ensure the sustainability of public finances.
„[I had a – editor’s note] very good discussion today with European Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis about Romania’s macroeconomic and fiscal situation. We will continue working on the necessary reforms to consolidate stability and ensure the sustainability of public finances. We will continue the close dialogue on these important topics,” Ilie Bolojan said, according to the Government’s Facebook page.
Continuing his visit to Brussels, the Romanian Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with the European Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius, and with Roxana Manzatu, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, European Commissioner for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Training.
