PM Bolojan: I thank all Romanians for getting through this difficult period

Published on

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan conveyed on Friday, from the construction site of A3 motorway, a message in which he thanked Romanians for their patience in recent months, expressing his belief that the economic measures taken will show their effects next year.

„I thank all Romanians for getting through this difficult period. It’s not easy for them, but when you hold an office of responsibility and are required to implement measures that do not sound good it is not easy either,” the prime minister told a press conference.

The head of the Government added that he has confidence in Romania’s ability to revive its economy and return to a sustainable development trajectory.

„I thank them for understanding the situation and I am convinced that next year, after these correction measures show their effects, we will be able to restore the economy on healthy foundations and create conditions for development in the coming years. I have confidence in Romania,” Ilie Bolojan said. AGERPRES
