Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will pay a working visit to the Republic of Moldova on Saturday, marking his first official visit as Prime Minister of Romania, during which he will participate in a series of activities alongside Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
According to a Government press release, discussions will focus on key bilateral cooperation topics and projects, including those funded by Romania through non-reimbursable financial assistance, as well as aspects related to Moldova’s European integration.
In this context, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is expected to reaffirm the special nature of the bilateral relationship, based on genuine friendship and shared history, and to express Romania’s strong support for the Republic of Moldova’s EU accession process, the press release reads.
