PM Bolojan: We are grateful for the United States’ continued support

Romania’s Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan on Friday posted a message of congratulations to the United States of America and the American people on Independence Day – July 4.

„Today we are sending our best wishes on Independence Day, the most important national holiday of the United States of America.

The day represents the desire for freedom and democracy, values that Romania shares with the United States. The strategic partnership between Romania and the U.S. provides our cooperation with a solid foundation built on trust, respect, and common goals. In difficult times, genuine partnerships become all the more valuable. We are grateful for the constant support of the United States, and we want to further develop this important bond,” Bolojan wrote in a social media post in Romanian.

The United States of America celebrates Independence Day on Friday. On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted as the Continental Congress proclaimed the independence of the 13 British colonies in the New World.
