Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said in Timisoara on Friday, at the inauguration of the new terminal of the „Traian Vuia” International Airport, that the investment is a spectacular one, carried out to the highest standards and, together with other projects concerning airports and ports, shows that Romania is ready to join the Schengen area.

„Today I came here again for the inauguration of the new terminal of Timisoara International Airport. It is obvious, it is clear, I think for everyone, that finally, after more than 30 years, investments have started to keep the pace with the development needs of the community. We see here a spectacular investment, at the highest standards and the same thing is happening in many other cities in the country, whether we are talking about the airports of Iasi, Craiova or Targu Mures,” said Ciolacu.

Marcel Ciolacu mentioned that in the next few years hundreds of millions of euros will be invested in the Port of Constanta and in the Danube ports.

Marcel Ciolacu participated on Friday in the inauguration of a new terminal for external departures at the „Traian Vuia” International Airport in Timisoara, the event was also attended by Transport Minister Sorin Grindeanu and Senate President Nicolae Ciuca.
