Pensioners with low incomes will receive the first tranche of the „one-off” aid next month, ahead of the Easter holidays, announced Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu on Thursday.

„As promised, we have finalised the necessary legislation to provide financial aid of 800 lei for the 2.5 million pensioners with incomes of up to 2,574 lei. We are approving this project today, so that pensioners with low incomes will receive the first tranche of money next month, ahead of the Easter holidays,” Ciolacu said at the beginning of the Government meeting.
