PM Ciolacu to pay working visit to Brussels on Friday, including meeting with EC president

Published on

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced that during his working visit to Brussels on Friday, he will have a one-on-one meeting with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

The Prime Minister told the press accredited at the Government that the discussions will focus, among other things, on aspects related to renegotiating the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), so that Romania does not lose any grants, but he will also try to obtain a „reprofiling of investments with lower co-financing.”

The security situation in the current international context will also be on the agenda of the discussions.

The head of the Executive detailed that in Brussels he will be accompanied by Minister of Investments and European Projects Marcel Bolos and Minister of Finance Tanczos Barna.
