PNL’s Ciuca on parliamentary lists for Bucharest: When elections are approaching things get agitated

Published on

PNL (National Liberal Party) leader Nicolae Ciuca on Monday stated in Iasi that there are no issues with the making of the parliamentary lists for Bucharest, only that ‘things get more agitated’ when the moment of nominations get closer.

„No one who is on the list is a problem. There is this internal competition, not only in our party, but in all parties. When the moment comes to nominate the candidates, things get more agitated. Our role is to manage this agitation,” Ciuca told a press conference in Iasi.

When asked whether the lists are made by the branch leaders or the central leadership, the PNL head said that the procedure regarding the nominations are carried out at every branch according to the statute of the party.
