PNL’s Ciuca praises military reservists’ honorable service under national flag

The military reservists built today’s Romanian Army, serving with honor under the national flag, and thanks to their years-long efforts, all active military personnel can take pride in being part of a professional institution that is well-respected by allies, Chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Nicolae Ciuca wrote on Friday in a message for the Military Reservist Day.

„The reservists’ experience is an invaluable resource for training the young generations of active military personnel, who need guidance in the organizational culture of the military system. The reservists who have dedicated the most beautiful period of their lives to the country know what taking on the difficulties of the military service means,” Ciuca wrote on Facebook.

Reserve General Nicolae Ciuca emphasized that he knows „how hard the decision to go into reserve weighs down on the heart of a serviceman.”

„Thanks to the years-long effort put in by those who now form the reserve corps, all active military personnel can take pride in being part of a professional institution that is well-respected by allies. I know how hard the decision to go into reserve weighs down on the heart of a serviceman, and how big the changes in their everyday life are!,” Ciuca also wrote.
