Prime minister Marcel Ciolacu announces that he will make these days several visits, including unheralded ones, to schools in Romania, to see how they are prepared for the new school year.
„Monday, as we well know, school starts. I will continue to go these days to several schools, both announced and unannounced. To see the stage. I think, however, until the end of 2026, just like in the field of Health there will be some major changes in terms of infrastructure, I think they will also be for the infrastructure of the education system,” Ciolacu assessed.
The premier emphasized that the PNRR provides a deadline, the end of 2026, for the completion of the projects financed under the programme, and this must also be respected with regard to the projects dedicated to schools and the education system.
„I’m very glad that the PNRR imposes a deadline on us, namely 2026, so everyone is no longer stuck in that usual languor of ours – let it be that we can do it tomorrow too. Well, it can’t be done tomorrow, so we have to finish as soon as possible more projects,” prime minister Ciolacu also said.
