President Biden’s decision on Ukraine’s use of US weapons is unilateral, says Ciuca

Senate president Nicolae Ciuca, leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL), said Friday that US President Joe Biden’s decision to allow Ukraine to use US weapons to strike targets on Russian territory is a „unilateral” one, about which not many details are known and, as such, he cannot comment further on the subject.

„I cannot comment on such a decision. It is a unilateral decision. We don’t even know very many details on this issue, so I can’t comment any further,” said Nicolae Ciuca, asked how he comments on US President Joe Biden „authorising” Ukraine to use American weapons in the strike against certain Russian targets.

According to AFP, US president Joe Biden, who has so far refused to do so, has given Ukraine the green light to strike targets on Russian territory near the city of Kharkov under certain conditions, a US official said on Thursday.
