President Dan meets Romanian MEPs: My commitment is to further strengthen Romania’s pro-European direction

President Nicusor Dan met on Thursday in Brussels with Romanian Members of the European Parliament, with discussions focused on Romania’s priorities on the European agenda.

„I had an initial meeting with the Romanian members of the European Parliament. We discussed Romania’s priorities on the European agenda and agreed to maintain close coordination so that, together, we can best promote our interests and ensure Romania has a strong profile at the European level. My commitment is to further strengthen Romania’s pro-European direction, based on the values and principles we believe in,” the head of state said in a post on Facebook.

President Nicusor Dan is currently in Brussels to participate in the European Council meeting.
