President Nicusor Dan announced that on Monday at 12:00 a meeting of the Supreme Council for National Defence (CSAT) will take place and the meeting’s agenda includes several topics with a strictly military focus.

Nicusor Dan was asked whether Monday’s CSAT meeting would also address the issue of Romanians’ utility bills.

„On Monday, at 12:00, there will be a CSAT meeting with several topics. One topic is the National Defence Strategy, another is the SAFE proposal which Romania is putting forward to the European Commission. There are several topics with a strictly military focus, as we are in a context in which we must approve certain defence plans. A normal CSAT meeting,” the head of state said on Friday.
