Romania remains the most sincere and steadfast supporter of the Republic of Moldova in all areas, particularly regarding the modernisation of the state, reforms and European integration, President Nicusor Dan said on Thursday.

He welcomed Republic of Moldova Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, as part of the latter’s first foreign visit since taking office.

‘I have encouraged the new Government to act decisively and responsibly, focusing on economic growth, the welfare of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova and the integration in the European Union,’ the Romanian head of state wrote on Facebook. AGERPRES
