President Nicusor Dan on Wednesday announced that the national defence strategy will be put up for public debate, the purpose of the document being to protect the citizens.

„We want to defend the citizens who live in this state,” said the head of state, at the Cotroceni presidential palace.

Thus, the document emphasises the way in which citizens trust the authorities and „the gap between an advance of the society and a lagging behind of the public administration”. AGERPRES
