President Nicusor Dan announced that he will participate on Monday in the B9 Summit, which will take place in Vilnius.

„We are going to Vilnius on Monday, as you know, that is the B9 Summit, followed by the NATO Summit, then the European Council meeting, and probably Chisinau in June,” Nicusor Dan said in a statement to the press in front of his residence.

He mentioned that he would have a discussion with Minister of Defence Angel Tilvar about participation in the B9 Summit.

„I don’t know if I can manage to meet with the Minister of Defence today; if not, I’ll ask to meet him tomorrow. (…) Vilnius is a matter of foreign policy and security policy, and I want to understand where we stand,” the head of state explained.

Nicusor Dan also said that he invited the U.S. President, Donald Trump, to Romania.

„Yes, I invited him, but of course his schedule is extremely busy,” the president added.
