Romania’s President Nicusor Dan will participate in the European Council meeting, which will be held in Brussels on Thursday.

The European Council meeting agenda includes, as main topics of discussion, the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, European security and defence, the EU’s competitiveness and twin transition, access to housing, migration, and the Republic of Moldova, according to a Presidential Administration press release sent to AGERPRES.

On Wednesday, Nicusor Dan attended the working dinner hosted by European Council President Antonio Costa, together with President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on the sidelines of the EU-Egypt institutional summit.

An extended-format Euro Summit will also take place in Brussels, where discussions will focus on the EU’s overall economic situation, with an emphasis on the Economic and Monetary Union and the digital euro. AGERPRES
