The President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, signed on Wednesday the decree decorating the Battle Flag of the Captain Grigore Giosanu 45th Communications and Informatics Battalion.

According to the Presidential Administration, the Battle Flag of the 45th Communications and Informatics Battalion was awarded the Order of „Military Virtue” in the rank of Knight, with sign of peace.

The distinction marks 115 years since the establishment of the battalion and is a „token of appreciation for the high professionalism and the special results obtained by the unit’s personnel in carrying out specific missions, as well as for the contribution made to promoting the image of the Romanian Army”, the quoted source informs.
