President Klaus Iohannis on Tuesday stated that Sebastian Burduja, the current minister of energy, is „a great candidate” for the Capital City Hall.

„I don’t want to give scored, but I believe minister Burduja is a great candidate,” said the head of state.

Klaus Iohannis is currently paying an official visit to Korea.

The coalition on Monday evening decided to propose separate candidates for the Capital City Hall, namely Gabriela Firea, on behalf of the Social Democratic Party, PSD, and Sebastian Burduja, in order to get the maximum of votes from the two parties’ electorates, according to some political sources.
