President Nicusor Dan welcomed by France’s President Macron at Elysee Palace

President Nicusor Dan, who is on a working visit to France, was welcomed on Tuesday by his French counterpart Emmanuel Marcron, at the Elysee Palace.

The head of state was greeted by the Honour Guard and met at the entrance of the Elysee Palace by President Emmanuel Macron.

President Nicusor Dan is set to hold a working lunch with his French counterpart.

The head of state’s delegation is made up of Foreign Affairs Minister Oana Toiu, Economy Minister Radu Miruta, Interim National Defence Minister and Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare, alongside Presidential Advisers Marius Lazurca, Valentin Naumescu and Radu Burnete.

President Nicusor Dan is on a two-day working visit to France, which began on Monday. On the first evening, he met at the Romanian Embassy with Romanian nationals living in France.

On Tuesday, the head of state met with representatives of French businesses and held a meeting with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.

He also attended the inauguration of „Nicolae Titulescu” Alley in Paris’s Monceau Park. AGERPRES
