The interim president of the USR (Save Romania Union), Dominic Fritz, on Thursday stated that presidential candidate Nicusor Dan, who will run in the second round of the elections for Cotroceni, is „the only candidate” who can keep Romania on a European path and noted „a big movement in the society,” which is mobilizing for the „good, fair and honest solution” of May 18.

„Nicusor Dan, clearly, is the only candidate who can keep Romania on a European path, he is the only candidate who can guarantee that we will not have a government led by a violent man like Mr. Georgescu and I believe that more and more people, more and more who are now undecided, will be making a responsible decision on May 18, for Romania. Of course, everyone is mobilizing now, there is a big movement in the society, in private companies, entrepreneurs, in the civil society that is mobilizing for the good and correct and honest solution,” said Dominic Fritz.

Responding to a question from the journalists, Dominic Fritz showed that at the local level he is in permanent contact with the leaders of the coalition parties.
