Prime Minister Ciolacu received in Paris by his French counterpart Michel Barnier

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu was received, on Monday evening, at the seat of the French Republic’s Government, by Prime Minister Michel Barnier.

After the welcome at the Hotel de Matignon, followed by the welcome photo, the two high officials have a bilateral meeting.

During the statements made during the day at the headquarters of the Romanian Embassy in Paris, Prime Minister Ciolacu specified that the discussions he would hold with the Prime Minister of the French Republic will include topics related to investments in the area of defense and energy, based on bilateral partnerships, but also external issues, including the situation in the Republic of Moldova.

At the end of the meeting, Barnier will host an official dinner in honor of Prime Minister Ciolacu.

The official delegation accompanying the Romanian prime minister on his working visit to the French Republic includes the Deputy Prime Minister Marian Neacsu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luminita Odobescu, the Minister of Defense, Angel Tilvar, the Minister of Labor, Simona Bucura-Oprescu, and the MEP Victor Negrescu, vice-president of the European Parliament, honorary adviser to the prime minister.
