Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan had a working meeting on Friday, at Victoria Palace, with representatives of the National Council of Small and Medium-sized Private Enterprises in Romania, during which several current topics on the priority agenda of the Government and the business environment were discussed.
At the initiative of the representatives of SMEs in Romania, aspects related to the stability of the fiscal regime of micro-enterprises, companies’ access to financing, as well as the application of the minimum turnover tax (IMCA) were analyzed, according to a Government press release sent to AGERPRES.
In this context, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that the minimum turnover tax represents an important point on the Government’s agenda and the decision will be made in support of companies.
Another topic discussed at the meeting at Victoria Palace concerned the minimum gross wage guaranteed in the economy in 2026, a point on which consultations took place between the Government and the social partners, within the framework of the National Tripartite Council for Social Dialogue. A decision is also to be made in this regard, based on economic and social arguments, the cited source specifies.
Regarding the transport sector, at the initiative of business representatives, aspects related to the application of the mechanism through which transporters benefit from the return of a part of the additional excise tax on fuel, combating tax evasion in the transport sector and the private sector’s access to European financing for the purchase of non-polluting vehicles were analyzed.
The dialogue between the Government and representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises will continue, both at the level of the Prime Minister and at the sectoral level, with the relevant ministries, announces the cited source.
