PSD’s Ciolacu: We have a political agreement, each of the signatories understood the Romanians’ message

Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced on Monday the signing of a political agreement between the Social Democratic Party (PSD), the National Liberal Party (PNL), the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) and the parliamentary group of national minorities to take over governance.

„We have a political agreement. Each of the signatories understood the Romanians’ message from the general elections,” said Ciolacu.

According to him, the coalition’s objectives are to defend Romania’s position in Europe and NATO, as well as to protect national identity.
